Brief Introduction
MI heating cable is a solid body composed of metal protective tube, inorganic insulation (such as magnesium oxide, aluminum oxide, etc.), electric heating wire material and compacted by mould. It has the advantages of pressure resistance, earthquake resistance, flexibility, energy saving, high impermeability, radiation resistance, explosion-proof, safe and reliable, convenient installation, high mechanical strength, long service life, etc., and is widely used in aerospace, nuclear energy, petroleum It has been more than 40 years since the industrial departments such as chemical industry, construction, machinery, electric power and energy and the fields of scientific research and teaching have been applied internationally.
Cable Structure
The cable is composed of continuous seamless metal sheath, single or multiple electric hot wires and tightly compacted magnesium oxide insulation layer.
The heating element is composed of heating cable in the middle section, cold cable at both ends, connector and terminal, which can be easily connected to the power supply. In addition, the heating cable can be made into different shapes and different power heating elements according to the needs.
Tolerance of resistance value: ± 10%.
Withstand voltage performance: withstand voltage of heating cable: 1500vac / 1min; withstand voltage of heating element: 1200vac / 1min.
Insulation resistance: finished product test - 100m Ω / 500VDC.
Impermeability: after the whole cable (including connector) is immersed in water for 12 hours, the insulation resistance shall not be less than 100M Ω / 500VDC.
